We just wanted to send out an update/correction. Officer Frazita had posted earlier that the incident happened in Planter's Walk when the incident actually happened on Planters Watch in Withers Grove. Below is her update:
Today between 8:00-11:00 am there was a house break-in in the Wither's Grove community. A resident was home at the time of the incident but was not injured. There was a witness who observed a suspicious person walking around the area prior to the break-in but did not call 911. If you saw any suspicious activity this morning or over the last few days please contact Detective A. Kelly at ... View more email@example.com with any pertinent information. You can also reach out to myself or Officer Overman via private message through nextdoor. Thank you!!
During this time Cedar Management Group, our HOA company, was completing their monthly neighborhood check. You may have seen a light blue smart car going slow in the neighborhood around 10am, this was Cedar Management Company.
As a reminder, please make sure your garage doors are closed. If you see your neighbor's garage door open, please alert them or close it for them and let them know it was left open. If you have a weird feeling about something or see something suspicious, please call 911 so that they can come check it out.
Happy Independence Day! Every year the HOA receives several complaints about neighbors shooting off fireworks. Not only is it illegal to shoot of fireworks that leave the ground and explode in North Carolina, you can also be fined. In the past fireworks have caused damage to homes, vehicles and landscaping in our community.
Fireworks that are legal in this state include poppers, sparklers, fountains and novelty items that don't explode, spin, leave the ground or fly through the air.
Please don't forget you animals. Animals do not like the loud noise from fireworks. If you have an animal that is outside, please consider bringing them in tonight.
Effective June 1, 2014
Cedar Management Group will manage our HOA.
